Junior Named a Winner in Playwriting Competition

Elena Espenschied ’22 was notified this week that her play, “Soon To Be Titled,” was selected as one of the winners in the 43^rd Annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids’ Playwriting Festival! Sections of each of this year’s winning plays will be performed online this June.

Elena wrote the play last year when she took the play directing and production course with Mr. Greenfield. The play was performed as part of the “Evening Prayers” festival last March to inaugurate the Black Box Theater in The Lorraine and Bill Dodero Center for Performing Arts.
