Students Learn What It Means to Live the Mission From Aly Raisman

On Wednesday, Ms. Johnson took a group of students to hear six-time Olympic gold medalist and activist Aly Raisman headline a presentation at Landerhaven. She encouraged the audience, many of whom were students, to come forward and speak up if something does not feel right. Ms. Johnson said of the experience, “Her talk was a living example of our GA mission and what it means to have the competence to see and courage to act— she’s truly doing so much to make a more humane and just society!” Driving this point home was Raisman’s closing message, “Your generation has the power, and hopefully the courage, to be the change our society so desperately needs.”
