Students and faculty alike loved welcoming the Bishop to campus last Friday to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, the feast day for the Congregation of Holy Cross. The gym as full as students from Kindergarten-Grade 12, along with faculty, staff, parents, alumni and friends gathered for the celebration. More than 50 students were involved in the Mass, including Taniya Dsouza ‘20, whose angelic voice caused the Bishop to lean over to Fr. John during Mass to find out who she was! All will remember the Bishop’s important message - “Never underestimate the power of God’s spirit working in you, through you and despite you.”
After Mass, the Lower School students showed how God works through them as they prepared 100 care packages for the homeless; made 50 blankets for Rescue Village, Hospice of the Western Reserve and the homeless; and wrote letters to Sarah Bohn ‘18, who is currently at West Point studying and serving our country. Check out these pictures of the students hard at work.
