Gilmour seniors participated in a car parade May 16, 2020, the day after their last day of school. The top students were announced — salutatorian Ian Miller and valedictorian Garrett Olsen, pictured below.
Upper School faculty and administrators were so disappointed to not be able to gather in person to celebrate the Senior Award winners. They mailed the awards with their congratulations on April 24, 2020, asking the winners to send back a photo of themselves with their award(s). These photos are below.
You can read about the awards and winners in the Senior Awards script that was put together for what they hoped would be an in-person celebration.
Our two Senior Award winners highlighted immediately below are the winners of the Gilmour Trophy. This is the highest honor a student can receive during his or her years at the Academy. The Gilmour Trophies are bestowed upon the male and female in the graduating class who best exemplify those qualities that Gilmour hopes to nurture in all students. The recipients are not only good students, but demonstrated leaders in co- and extracurriculars and show clear commitment to the school's mission. Congratulations to this year's Gilmour Trophy winners Taniya Dsouza ’20 and Ian Miller ’20.
