We would like to once again offer Ski Club this year for Grades 4-12. In order to do this, we are looking for a few parent volunteers to supervise and chaperone the students on the bus to and from Brandywine Ski Resort in Peninsula, Ohio. Ski Club season begins in January. Please contact Club Moderator Jeanne Tippen at (440) 473-8000 x1401 with any questions regarding volunteering.

Going Global @ The Greenhouse
Sunday, November 3, 4-7 p.m., Greenhouse Tavern, East 4th Street
Gilmour has a longstanding partnership with CISV, the non-profit children’s organization founded to give young people educational opportunities for greater cultural awareness and understanding. Several GA students and alumni - Abbey Bartlett ’19, Michael Holleran ’19, Andre Lacroix ’23, Nathan Nootbaar ’22 and former student Catcher Sawyer - have participated in CISV’s global peace education programs. Gilmour has hosted CISV’s international camp on campus and will once again this summer.
On Sunday, November 3, the organization will host Going Global @ The Greenhouse. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the CISV youth ambassadors and learn about the unique experiences offered through CISV. All proceeds go toward hosting this summer’s three-week international camp for teens from nine countries on Gilmour’s campus. Head down to Greenhouse Tavern, sample food at international food stations, learn more about CISV, hear the annual “Travel Reveal” announcing CISV’s 2020 offerings and support this incredible organization.
