The Gilmour Academy Women’s Club invites all senior parents to join their livestream of this year's College 101 session. The senior class will participate in person and will hear brief presentations from speakers that will help give them insight and prepare them for college life. The speakers include an attorney, financial advisor, campus police officer and an instructor from LifeAct. Topics include legal rights and responsibilities of college students, campus safety, mental health at college, money management suggestions and life on a college campus. Whether you are a current Lancer moving up to the next division or are new to Gilmour, our Spring Orientation is a great way to learn more about what to expect next year at Gilmour as you hear from students and administrators, meet some of your new classmates and celebrate being part of Lancer Nation with some ice cream. LancerWear will be available for purchase as well. Dress is casual.
The Women's Club hosts a monthly book club on the second Thursday of the month, except for October and April, when meetings take place on the third Thursday because of Gilmour's scheduled breaks. All are welcome.
