Equip your child to achieve their highest potential at Gilmour Academy, where we support and challenge each student along their educational, spiritual and personal journey.
From 18-months to 18-years-old, Gilmour Academy students thrive in an enriching cross-disciplinary, co-educational learning environment that positions our graduates among the best in the state. To accomplish this, our rigorous academic offerings are complemented by a holistic approach to education that emphasizes:

List of 3 items.

  • Learning by Doing

In and out of the classroom, Gilmour students of all ages learn by doing, whether it’s a tactile math puzzle in the Montessori classroom, a Middle School entrepreneurship competition or an intensive research externship at the Upper School level. Our emphasis on immersive experiences goes far beyond state requirements. We prepare students for the real world by instilling in them the confidence to use their talents effectively.
  • Learning by Leading

We recognize that there are many different forms of leadership, so we don’t prescribe a linear, one-size-fits-all education. Rather, each Gilmour student is inspired to reach their highest potential by conquering challenges and seizing opportunities that make the most of their unique talents.
  • Learning by Serving

Guided by the charisms of our Holy Cross traditions, Gilmour Academy students learn from an early age to accept moral responsibility and strive to create a more humane and just world. We offer opportunities to practice spirituality and self-reflection every day, guiding students to find their sense of purpose and respond with efficacy and courage.

Blessed Father Basil Moreau

“We shall always place education side by side with instruction; the mind will not be cultivated at the expense of the heart. While we prepare useful citizens for society, we shall likewise do our utmost to prepare citizens for heaven.”
