Online Refund Policy

The website provides members of the Gilmour community with the ability to make gifts to Gilmour and pay certain fees and charges that may be due Gilmour online. The Refund Policy set forth below has been adopted to inform students, parents and other members of the Gilmour community who visit this website for any purpose ("users") how Gilmour will handle claims for refunds of any amounts paid online after a payment has been processed.

Tuition Refund Policy

While the Gilmour website allows parents and guardians to pay the tuition, books and supplies and other fees included on the Schedule of Tuition and Fees for an academic year online, the terms, conditions and policies regarding refunds of payments so made are set forth in the Enrollment Agreement which parents and guardians sign as a condition to student enrollment. There is no separate refund policy for online payments.

In general, the Enrollment Agreement provides for refunds of tuition and fees subject to the following policies:

Students Enrolled Prior to June 1:
In instances where the student is enrolled for the ensuing academic year prior to June 1, parents and/or guardians of the student may cancel enrollment and receive a full refund of all amounts paid for tuition, books and supplies and other fees (except for the Registration Deposit, which will not be refunded) by advising Gilmour, in writing, of their cancellation prior to June 1. If enrollment of a student who is enrolled for the ensuing academic year prior to June 1 is cancelled after June 1 , no payments will be refunded and parents and/or guardians will remain obligated to pay the tuition, books and supplies and other fees included on the Schedule of Tuition and Fees for the entire academic year whether or not the student attends Gilmour.

Students Enrolled After to June 1:

If the student becomes enrolled for the ensuing academic year after June 1, parents and/or guardians of the student may cancel enrollment by advising Gilmour, in writing, of their cancellation within 14 days of the date on which the Enrollment Agreement is received by Gilmour (the “Cancellation Period”). If enrollment is cancelled within the Cancellation Period, parents and/or guardians of the student will receive a full refund of all amounts paid for tuition, books and supplies and other fees (except for the Registration Deposit, which will not be refunded). If enrollment of a student who is enrolled for the ensuing academic year after June 1^st is cancelled after expiration of the Cancellation Period, no payments will be refunded and parents and/or guardians will remain obligated to pay the tuition, books and supplies and other fees included on the Schedule of Tuition and Fees for the entire academic year whether or not the student attends Gilmour.

Except as provided above, the obligation to pay the charges for tuition, books and supplies and other fees included on Gilmour’s Schedule of Tuition and Fees for an academic year is unconditional and no portion of such charges so paid or outstanding will be refunded or cancelled, regardless of the subsequent absence, withdrawal or dismissal of a student from Gilmour.

Summer Camp Refund Policy

Registration fees for Gilmour’s Summer Day Camp programs which are paid online are non-refundable unless cancelled by June 1. If registration for a camp program is cancelled prior to June 1, registration fees will be refunded subject to the deduction of a $100 cancelation fee. If you wish to cancel your registration for Gilmour’s Summer Day Camp program, you must contact the Camp Director at (440) 684-4580.

Sponsored Events Refund Policy

Registration fees for other Gilmour-sponsored events which are paid online (such as the Annual Golf Outing, Gold Ticket Raffle, Lunch with Santa, auctions, luncheons, etc.) are fully refundable if registration is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the event. If your registration is not cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the event, the registration fees for that event are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your registration for a multi-week session, you must contact Gilmour’s Development Office at (440) 473-8001.

Online Donations

Online gifts and donations are non-refundable.
