Giving Securities to Gilmour

To ensure that your gift is properly acknowledged and designated, we have included instructions for you, the donor, as well as for your stock broker.   Please do not send information to your broker without first notifying both Gilmour Academy and your broker of your intent to donate shares, along with the purpose of your donation.   If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call the Advancement Office at 440-473-8001 and we will be happy to help you with your transfer.

 

If you wish to contribute to the annual Fund and prefer not to contribute stock, visit www.gilmour.org and click on "Giving to Gilmour".  Using your credit card online has never been easier or safer!   Thank you for your continued support of Gilmour Academy.

 

Stock Contribution Instructions
If your stock is held at a broker:
  •  Notify your broker that you wish to make a gift to Gilmour Academy.
  •  Your broker will need written authorization from you to make the transfer.

Write a letter to you broker.  In you letter include:

> the name of the stock you are gifting;

> the number of shares;

> that you gift is for the Annual Fund, or unrestricted giving.
 

Send a copy of this letter to:

Once you have authorized the transfer, ask your broker to contact the Advancement Office at 440-473-8001.

Our office will give your broker complete instructions. Even if you have donated securities in the past, Please make sure your broker contacts Gilmour prior to making the transfer.
